There is something truly powerful about watching a room full of professionals pause, reflect, and ask themselves,
“How effectively am I really communicating?”
That is exactly what happened during session on Effective Communication with the wonderful team at Larsen & Toubro Renewables.
Over 100participants joined in for a session that was less about theory and more about self-discovery, understanding why we communicate the way we do, where we get stuck, and how we can make every interaction more meaningful.
We began with a quick self-assessment, a moment of honest reflection.
Through real workplace examples, from safety briefings to client calls, participants explored how clarity, empathy, and credibility can make or break communication.
The conversations that followed were raw, real, and relatable.
One of the biggest “aha!” moments came with the introduction of the Rhetorical Triangle; Ethos (Credibility), Pathos (Emotional Connection), and Logos (Logic).
As teams discussed and applied the model, the room buzzed with reflections like:
“This really changes how I think about communication.”
“It’s not just what I say, but how I make others feel that matters.”
It was heartening to see how quickly people connected the dots between communication theory and real-world conversations.
When asked about their top communication challenges, the responses were spot-on:
1) Managing disagreements tactfully
2) Giving clear instructions
3) Cross-team coordination
And here is the inspiring part, when tasks didn’t go as planned, participants felt they could have communicated more clearly.
That is ownership, awareness, and a growthmindset in action.
Every session at Ecube ends with a reflection, we call it “Golden Nugget or Pebble in the Shoe.”
The golden nuggets?
“Active listening and clear articulation stood out for me.”
“Adapting messages for different audiences really helps.”
Session laid a strong foundation, one built on self-awareness, empathy, and a desire to grow.
The energy, openness, and participation from the L&TRenewables team made it an absolute delight to facilitate.
We can’t wait to continue this journey through the next modules, where we’ll bring even more action, reflection, and confidence into the way we communicate at work.
Because at the end of the day, communication is not just a skill.
It is how we connect, collaborate, and create impact together.
