Some training sessions leave a lasting impression. both for the participants and the facilitator.
Looking back at my session on the Sales Accelerator Program, SAP at AlSiraj, I am reminded of the insightful discussions, the energy in the room, and the thoughtful handwritten feedback I received.
It is always rewarding to see how learning experiences resonate long after the session ends. The words shared by participants reinforced the importance of practical, engaging, and actionable learning; something I strive for in every session.
Grateful for the opportunity and for everyone who made it a success!
Have you ever looked back at a past learning experience that still inspires you today?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Embracing Change with the Leaders of National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI)
Change is the only constant, and great leadership lies in the ability to not just adapt but to initiate and navigate change effectively. I recently had the privilege of conducting a Change Management training program for the senior leadership team at National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI), an organization driving some of the most innovative financial products in India (and steadily abroad) today.
Through immersive simulations, thought-provoking case studies, and deep discussions on change models, these leaders explored what it means to be true agents of change in a VUCA world.
Their insights and strategies reflected their forward-thinking approach to leading people through transformation with clarity and confidence. It was inspiring to witness how they embraced the essence of change—not as a challenge but as an opportunity to shape the future of financial technology!
Way to go National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) and look forward to many more innovative products in the future!
Excited to share the journey of our fourth cohort in the “ResilientLeader” program with Presidio!

Over the past months, we’ve witnessed remarkable growth as these leaders have embraced the power of leading from within.
The “ResilientLeader” program is more than just training; it’s a transformative journey. Leaders are learning to be proactive, align with their core values, and lead authentically with a clear purpose.
Thank you, Presidio, for trusting us once again to guide your leaders on this impactful path. Together, we are shaping inspiring, resilient leaders who make a positive impact every day.
I had the incredible opportunity to co-lead the Resilient Leader program for the dynamic team at Kreston Menon, alongside Dia Mitra, PCC.
Designed by EcubeTrainingandConsulting, this immersive experience focused on unlocking leadership potential through executive coaching, MBTI analysis, and TheLeadershipChallenge framework.
We kicked off with inspiring opening remarks from Saju Augustine, Senior Partner – Kreston Menon & Regional Director (Middle East) – Kreston Global Audit Group, and Shibu Abraham, Director – HR & Administration, Kreston Menon & Chair of the Leadership Team, HR & People Network – Kreston Global.
Their vision set the tone for a transformative journey.
The energy in the room was phenomenal!
From deep discussions to self-reflection and action-driven strategies, participants embraced the challenge to lead with resilience, inspire their teams, and drive business success. It’s been great to see how they are applying these insights in their roles since the program.
Excited for what’s ahead and looking forward to more such impactful sessions! 🚀
Leadership Beyond the Boardroom: An Experiential Journey with Sobha Realty
At EcubeTraining, we believe that leadership is best learned not just in classrooms but through immersive experiences that
challenge,
inspire, and
transform.
Recently, Dia Mitra, PCC and I took the leadership team of Sobha Realty on an extraordinary offsite, leadership retreat like no other.
Set on a breathtaking island in AbuDhabi, under the glow of a full moon, this experience was designed to culminate everything we had explored in their leadership development journey; but in a way that was deeply personal, interactive, and unforgettable.
Through kayaking, culinarychallenges, poolbasedteamactivities, LEGOsimulations, and even drumming under the moonlight, the leaders learned to:
📌 Take initiative and step into leadership moments naturally
📌 Build stronger connections through collaboration and trust
📌 Cultivate self-awareness, empathy, and conscious leadership
📌 Balance ambition with reflection, mindfulness, and fun
📌 Move beyond a single-minded focus to embrace a holistic leadership approach
This wasn’t just a team-building activity…..
It was a transformational experience where leadership became real, tangible, and applicable in everyday moments.
As we watched these leaders bond, reflect, and grow, we were reminded of a simple truth:
“Leadership isn’t just about driving results; it’s about shaping experiences, creating space for connection, and leading with both strength and heart.”
To all organizations out there:
If you truly want to develop leaders who inspire, connect, and elevate others; take them beyond the boardroom. Give them a space to experience leadership in action, and you’ll witness growth that lasts a lifetime.
We have all been in situations where we feel compelled to respond, where the noise, the interruptions, or the lack of respect in a room make us want to raise our voices and assert control.
But….
What if, instead of raising our voices, we raised the quality of our words?
Recently, during a training session I was leading, I found myself facing an unusual amount of disturbance. Participants were distracted, conversations overlapped, and even the event sponsors contributed to the disruption. More than once, I felt the urge to intervene sharply and call out the disrespect. But just as I was about to do so, a powerful thought crossed my mind:
“If you can’t keep your words sweet, keep your words.”
This simple yet profound idea shifted my entire approach…
Instead of reacting immediately, I chose to wait for the break.
During that time, I approached one of the most disruptive participants for a one-on-one conversation. Instead of simply pointing out the interruptions, I started by acknowledging what they had done well. I sincerely appreciated how some of their contributions had helped others grasp key concepts.
And then, honestly but without harshness, I expressed what had been challenging about their behaviour.
What happened next was remarkable.
?
?
A noticeable shift took place not just in the participant’s behavior but in the entire room’s energy. From that moment onward, they were more engaged, more respectful, and more in sync with the session.

Why Words Matter More Than Volume
This experience reinforced something essential:
When frustration builds up, we have two choices—
- Let emotions take over and speak on our behalf, often with words that may be regrettable.
- Consciously refine our communication, ensuring that our words remain constructive, no matter the situation.
The easiest path is to react, but the most effective path is to reflect.
When we respond with composure and clarity instead of anger, we don’t just manage a situation; we elevate it.
The Power of Raising Words, Not Volume
Harsh words may force compliance, but thoughtful words create commitment. There is a big difference between someone reluctantly cooperating and someone genuinely aligning with your message. True influence does not come from overpowering others but from inspiring them to listen.
If a moment tempts you to respond with frustration, pause and ask:
• Am I speaking, or is my emotion speaking for me?
• Is my communication being driven by reaction or by intention?
• How can I raise my words instead of my volume?
In the end, communication is not just about what we say…
It is about the environment we create!
By choosing words that uplift rather than tear down, we not only enhance our impact but also cultivate a space where respect, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue thrive.
So, the next time you find yourself in a challenging conversation, remember:
If you can’t keep your words sweet, keep your words. Because silence in wisdom is always louder than words spoken in anger.
16. Lately, I’ve been failing!
Not dramatically…but in quiet, personal ways: missed targets, stalled approvals, lost deals.
And every time, the inner critic pipes up: “Maybe you’re just not good enough.”
A recent one hit hard.
We worked closely with a client for weeks.
Meetings, revisions, full commitment.
Then…
Just like that…they chose someone else!
No explanation.
I was gutted!
But as the dust settled, a better question emerged…
What is this failure trying to teach me?
The answer
?
?
?
That I showed up. I tried. I cared.
And that matters more than the outcome.
Failure, I’ve realised, is feedback.
It’s proof I’m in motion. Not stuck. Not hiding behind comfort zones.
But evolving…boldly, consciously.
So I’ve stopped asking, “How successful am I?”
Now I ask, “How bravely did I fail today?”
Because failure means I’m doing work that matters.
And that, to me, is the real success!
Leadership is not about telling, it is about asking.
It is about creating space for others to think, grow, and step into their own potential.
Recently, I had the privilege of working with the top leaders at Sobha Constructions, guiding them through a transformative session on Leading Others.
The focus?
.
Moving from directive leadership to a coaching-based approach—where powerful questions spark reflection, and meaningful conversations unlock growth.
When leaders shift from instruction to inquiry, they don’t just lead; they build future leaders.
They elevate their teams, creating a culture of empowerment, trust, and continuous learning.
And at the heart of it all?
Being deeply aligned with our values, because great leadership starts from within.
The real challenge is not just managing people; it is inspiring them to lead.
And that is the kind of leadership that creates lasting impact.
💔 I’ve seen relationships go from “You’re the apple of my eye” to “Get lost, I can’t stand your sight!”
💔 I’ve seen relationships go from “You’re the apple of my eye” to “Get lost, I can’t stand your sight!”
As strange as it may seem, it is a common phenomenon when the level of acceptance is shallow and narrow.
Original Thought:
“You have got to do things the way I like them done, this is how you need to behave, this is okay and this is not…” — this is the mental construct about the other person.
While this can nurture and guide the other (if they are willing), you cannot impose, dictate, or control. When we struggle to impose control over ourselves (think of the last resolution you broke), expecting someone else to conform entirely is unrealistic.
Relationships are about differences.
Appreciate, accept, and learn to work towards objectives with those differences.
Appreciating differences is the key to stronger, more resilient relationships. Are you embracing the differences in yours? 🌟
As we step into a new year, I find myself reflecting on the journey that has brought us here.
🌟 Gratitude
This past year has been a tapestry of moments and memories, stitched together by the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with. To each of you—friends, family, colleagues, students, and even those fleeting connections that left a lasting impact, thank you. You have made the challenges bearable and the victories so much sweeter.
💡 Learning
The year was not without its mistakes. I have hurt people I care about, sometimes unintentionally, but I have heard your voices. Your feedback, your care, your honesty, it has been my compass for growth. I am learning, unlearning, and striving to be better. This journey is not perfect, but it is sincere.
🤍 Hope and Benevolence
To those who’ve faced struggles this year, and who have walked through their darkest days, I see you. My heart goes out to you, and I wish for nothing but light and peace to find you. Life can feel heavy, but I hope you discover the strength within and the kindness around you to keep moving forward.
As the calendar turns, I carry with me immense gratitude, the lessons I’ve learned, and a deep hope for brighter days for all. Let us step into 2025 with open hearts and the courage to embrace the journey ahead.
Wishing you all a New Year filled with love, kindness, and endless possibilities. 🕊️✨

There was a time when I was a control freak and wanted everything and everybody to function in a certain way.
Change bothered me immensely.
I was as fragile as a glass, avoiding tough situations or breaking down while facing them.
That’s when serendipity led me to meditation.
It helped, to begin with, to stay calm, reduce my stress and manage my emotions but little did I know that it would have a profound impact on my personal growth by clarifying my raison d’etre.
As I look back, my heart gets filled with hashtag#gratitude for that first step and for that brilliant feeling that kept me going; while it may be #24 years now, practising and teaching meditation I believe that it is just the beginning and the journey continues…..
Glad to be in Bahrain on world meditation day!
